My time at Mint
I worked at Mint as a Product Designer across web and both mobile platforms. We were a small team of 7 including brand, copy and graphic designers. Being one of the few product designers with UI/UX experience, I had the opportunity to influence the roadmap for several features and the consumer design language for Intuit. Here are some of the projects I've led at Mint.
In my time at Mint, I had the opportunity to lead our research initiatives to learn from a wide range of users across the US, work in brainstorming sessions with Scott Cook (the founder of Intuit), and share the vision for Mint’s role in Intuit’s larger vision of powering prosperity around the world.
Projects
A redesign of the Credit Score product to help demystify how credit scores are calculated and guide users through a path to increase their credit scores.
A modularized approach to unlocking and features, providing a guided approach for users, progressively growing with their financial journey.
A much awaited visual refresh to the product to launch in time for the new iOS 11 design system and a branding update to appeal to a younger audience.
Moonshots
A unified Intuit lending profile to replace the existing credit system, adding new data and more relevant data points to make credit more accessible
A discovery-based feed to guide new college graduates / people new to financial management by providing actionable insights.
